Devon Dionne
Meet Devon Dionne, founder of Devon Pilates Los Angeles and a trailblazer in holistic movement and wellness. Devon’s journey into bodywork began in New York while pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Dance Conservatory at SUNY, Purchase College. During her training with the Martha Graham Company and professional dancing with Buglisi Dance, she discovered the GYROTONIC® method—a revolutionary system dancers used to build strength and prevent injury. This sparked a lifelong passion, leading her to become certified in both GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® by 2004.
After relocating to Los Angeles in 2005, GYROTONIC® became her focus and driving force. Her interest in the human body deepened while working with a leading anti-aging doctor, inspiring her to expand her knowledge of holistic health. In 2009, she earned certification as a holistic health counselor from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, enriching her approach to wellness. Along with her husband, Rob, she co-hosted the Open Sky Fitness Podcast, where they interviewed top health and wellness experts from around the world.
With over two decades of training and 20 years of teaching experience, Devon’s expertise in GYROTONIC® is exceptional. She holds numerous advanced certifications and is also a certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body, bringing a well-rounded approach to her practice. Devon collaborates closely with chiropractors and doctors, working with clients recovering from back and shoulder injuries, and creating personalized programs to accelerate healing and enhance body strength.
Devon’s approach is rooted in her belief that physical training should be a holistic, mind-body experience. She understands that every body is unique, but all bodies are designed to move with freedom, strength, and grace. Whether working with celebrities, high-profile clients, or everyday individuals, Devon remains dedicated to continual learning, staying at the forefront of the latest scientific developments in movement and wellness.
With two decades of expertise, Devon’s mission is to help clients unlock their full potential—physically and mentally—making her one of the most sought-after instructors for those looking to transform their bodies and lives.
